Prime Minister Meets Bhutan Counterpart

Doha: HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani met on Tuesday morning with HE Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Bhutan Lotay Tshering and his accompanying delegation, on the occasion of his visit to the country to participate in the Fifth UN Conference on the Least Developed Countries (LDC5).

At the beginning of the meeting, HE Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Bhutan congratulated His Excellency on his appointment as Prime Minister, wishing him success.

For his part, HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs expressed his thanks and gratitude to the Prime Minister of Bhutan for his congratulations and the feelings of friendship and affection.

During the meeting, they discussed bilateral relations between the two countries, and ways of developing and enhancing them in various fields, in addition to discussing a number of issues of common concern. (QNA)
