Captain Sasan Ansari scored a second-half winner as Foolad reached the quarter-finals with a 1-0 win. In other match, Saudi Arabia's Al Hilal SFC continued their title defence, advancing to the quarter-finals after overcoming Shabab Al Ahli Dubai 3-1 in the last Round of 16 encounter at Al Janoub Stadium.
