In 2022, Yahsat reports rise in revenue of 6 percent

(MENAFN) According to its preliminary findings, Al Yah Satellite Communications, often known as Yahsat, had a 6% yearly growth in revenue in 2022, helped by its managed solutions sector.

From Dh1.5 billion in 2021 to Dh1.6 billion ($433 million) in 2018, the company's revenue increased, according to a bourse report by Yahsat to the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange, where its shares are traded.

According to the business, this rise was "led by excellent success in the managed solutions operating sector."

The company's chief financial officer, Andrew Cole, told The National in an interview in November that it expected revenue growth of between three and eight percent for the whole year. The results are in line with those predictions.

Its managed solutions business involves providing satellite communication services to the UAE government. About 85 per cent of the company’s revenue comes from the UAE market.
