TPO hosts meeting on Iran-Afghanistan exchange prospects
(MENAFN) Iran’s Trade Promotion Organization (TPO) on Tuesday hosted a meeting on Iran-Afghanistan ecnomic prospects, as reported by the TPO portal.
At this meeting, the volumes of exchange with Afghanistan were presented and some answers were offered to solve the issues that was established by the government alteration in the nation of Afghanistan.
While giving a speech at this event, Deputy Industry, Mining, and Trade Minister Mohammad Mousavi staetd that the exchange among Iran and Afghanistan has amounted to USD1.5 billion in the opening nine months of the present Iranian calendar year (March 21- December 21, 2022).
The official stated that he hopes for an Opening of exchange hub in Afghanistan would surge the rate of exchange among the two nations.
Mousavi went further on to invite the businessmen of the two nations, mainly the Iranian industrialists, to take part in Afghanistan’s infrastructure ventures.
