Russians Strike Sumy Region Community During Funeral Procession


(MENAFN- UkrinForm) On December 10, Russian troops continued shelling Sumy region, northern Ukraine. In particular, they opened mortar fire on Znob-Novhorodske community, where a funeral procession was held at that moment. The occupiers also struck Seredyna-Buda community with tube artillery.

“There were 10 explosions in Znob-Novhorodske community. The Russians shelled a yard and a road near the house of the deceased. People hid in shelters. In the border village of Seredyna-Buda community, five shots from tube artillery were recorded.

As a result of the shelling, a two-story residential building, 20 private houses, as well as administrative buildings were damaged.

The invaders regularly shell Sumy region, although they retreated from it in the spring. The Russian Federation still keeps some of its units in the border areas of Bryansk and Kursk regions. However, Ukrainian officials have not yet observed the creation of assault formations in Russia that could attack Sumy region again.
