Iran: Ardabil, following ECO cultural capital, wants to hold cultural nights

(MENAFN) Ardabil, which is the following cultural capital for the Economic Cooperation Organization in 2023, wants to hold cultural nights in many provinces in Iran.
Ardabil seeks to hold cultural nights in the provinces of Tehran, Khorasan Razavi, Fars, and Mazandaran in addition to on the Kish Island in the Persian Gulf, on the words of Ardabil’s deputy tourism head on Monday.
“The cultural nights are expected to promote Ardabil’s capacities in terms of tourism and cultural heritage on the eve of the ECO event,” Yahya Najjarqabel added.
The events comprise live performances, handicraft sale exhibits, photo exhibits, and numerous contests, the official also said.
Earlier in 2022, tourism minister Ezzatollah Zarghami declared the international event would be a great chance to support Ardabil globally. “As‘Ardabil 2023’approaches, it is necessary to make the most of the opportunity to introduce the province internationally and to build infrastructure in the province,” Zarghami continued.
