Qatar's Private Sector Exports To Jordan Up 12Pct In 9 Months

Doha, Oct. 3 (Petra) -- Exports by Qatar's private sector to Jordan during the first nine months of 2022 increased by 12.1 percent.
According to Qatar Chamber of Commerce and Industry's recent data obtained by Petra on Monday, the exports amounted to 124 million Qatari riyals (USD34 million), compared to 110 million riyals (USD30.2 million) in the same period of 2021.
The Qatari private sector's exports to Jordan primarily consist of various chemicals, such as automobile engine oils, sulfuric acid, lutein, aluminum briquettes, paraffin, polyethylene, iron rods, chemical fertilizers of all types and uses, plastic bags, automobile engine oils, organic fertilizers, medical solutions, as well as numerous foods and consumer goods.
