(MENAFN- UkrinForm) Eight more vessels have left Ukraine's Odesa Port, Chornomorsk Port and Pivdennyi Port via the so-called 'grain corridor'. Two more ships are waiting in line.
The relevant statement was made by the Ukrainian Infrastructure Ministry on Facebook , an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“On September 18, 2022, a total of 10 vessels are expected to depart from Odesa Port, Chornomorsk Port and Pivdennyi Port, loaded with 169.3 thousand tonnes of agricultural crops for African, Asian and European countries. As of 10:00 a.m., eight vessels left the ports, and two more ships are waiting for their turn and favorable conditions,” the report states.
According to the ministry, a total of 3.7 million tonnes of Ukrainian-produced agricultural crops have been exported since the 'grain corridor' was opened. A total of 165 vessels loaded with grain sailed from the Ukrainian ports to African, Asian and European countries.
A reminder that, on July 22, 2022, Ukraine, Turkey, Russia and the United Nations signed an agreement unblocking grain and food exports from three Ukrainian ports.
