Amro, Swedish Envoy Talk Joint Cooperation, Investments

Amman, Sept. 11 (Petra)--Minister of Investment, Khairy Amr, discussed with Swedish Ambassador to Jordan, Alexandra Rydmark, joint cooperation prospects between the two countries and ways to support and develop them, especially in the investment field.
The ministry, in a press statement, said talks reviewed its plans, especially in the field of attracting and enabling investment, Jordan's related key competitive opportunities and important legislative reforms aimed at creating a lucrative investment environment.
Discussions also went over importance of Jordan's new Investment Environment Law, expected to be endorsed during the current year, which aims to keep pace with best practices and the highest international standards in simplifying investment-related procedures, the statement noted.
