JALALABAD (Pajhwok): Three children have been injured in an explosive ordnance blast in the Koz Kunar district of eastern Nangarhar province, an official said on Tuesday.
Police Spokesperson Haji Raees Zabuli told Pajhwok Afghan News the incident happened on Monday at around 1:00 pm in the Shagai area when explosive ordnance blew up when children were playing on it.
Three children from one family were wounded in the blast and the security forces evacuated them on time to the hospital.
Jalalabad Zonal Hospital Spokesperson Gulzada Sangar also acknowledged three injured were shifted to the hospital from the site of the blast.
He said the health condition of one child was critical adding that the remaining two children were in stable condition.
