Amman, Aug. 10 (Petra) -- Minister of Labor Nayef Istitieh launched a program on Wednesday that aims to qualify middle management in government entities to assume leadership posts and contribute to the development of the public sector.
The 'Himma Program' came in implementation of His Majesty King Abdullah's and His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein's directives and in line with the economic and administrative modernization visions to boost the performance of various development sectors and provide top-grade services for Jordanians, the minister said in a press release.
Istitieh noted the importance of efficiently drawing up job replacement plans per the needs of institutions, ministries, and their human resource plans.
The program is implemented in an interactive and participatory manner that includes exercises and practical applications in order to achieve the goals for which it was set, he indicated.
