Azerbaijan's Karabakh Has Good Potential For Solar Energy Dev't - German Renewable Energy Federation

BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 21. Azerbaijan's liberated Karabakh has a good potential for solar energy, Project Manager for national and international projects at German Renewable Energy Federation Ronald Upmann told Trend .
He emphasized the scale of destruction of the major part of Karabakh's infrastructure and outlined the ongoing reconstruction activities.
'Now Karabakh got a chance to switch to solar energy, while the country itself is full of such opportunities. Hopefully, German companies will make their contribution to this by sharing experience with Azerbaijan,' he said.
Upmann also noted the importance of the Germany-Azerbaijan forum on sustainable development.
'In my opinion, the forum offered an option to make new contacts and get information about the Azerbaijani market,' he added.
