(MENAFN- UkrinForm) The third meeting of defense chiefs of more than 40 countries should help expand the supply of heavy weapons to Ukraine and operational training of the Ukrainian military.
This was emphasized on Telegram by the head of the President's Office, Andriy Yermak, Ukrinform reports.
'Ramstein-3 should be a day when the desire to compromise with those who choose violence will be replaced by an understanding of the importance of strength for the sake of peace and a new world order. Heavier weapons and operational training for our military. Everything else the enemy perceives as weakness,” said Yermak.

As reported, on June 5, U.S. Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin announced a meeting of the Contact Group on Ukraine's Defense (so-called 'Ramstein 3') in Brussels.
Earlier, on May 23, the second meeting of the Ukraine support group at the level of heads of defense agencies of more than 40 countries took place in the format launched on April 26, 2022, at the Ramstein Air Base (Germany). Such an instrument for providing military assistance to Ukraine was created at the initiative of the United States.
