Turkey publicizes withdrawal strategy for Turks from Ukraine

(MENAFN) Turkish deputy foreign minister stated the withdrawal strategy for Turkish residents in Ukraine through land frontiers.

Yavuz Selim Kiran tweeted “We have started our evacuation operations by land from Ukraine.”

Turkey is “in close cooperation with the countries of the region to facilitate the passage of our citizens,” who is going to either leave by the ministry’s withdrawal operations or by their own means through the frontier entrances.

Kiran as well listed the prepares that Turkish citizens who is going to exit Ukraine are going to be subject to after they reach the land frontier entrances.

Previously, Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu announced that the withdrawal of Turkish citizens in Ukraine is ongoing.

Cavusoglu added "We can no longer evacuate [our citizens] by air because the airspace is closed, we cannot evacuate by the sea too, so we started evacuation through the land by buses."
