Jordan - Nabulsi underlines stronger youth engagement in community activities
Amman, Dec. 8 (Petra)-Minister of Youth, Mohammad Nabulsi, said enhanced youth participation in community activities tops the ministry's priorities, and constitutes the most prominent pillars of the National Youth Strategy (NYS) 2019-2025, represented by active youth engagement.
Nabulsi made the remarks at the closing ceremony of 'Masaruna' 'Our Route' project, implemented by Motivators for Training (MOTIVE), in partnership with the ministry, under the slogan 'Promoting Vision of Jordanian Youth for Effective Civil Participation and Self-reliance.'
The event saw the participation of a number of heads and members of youth centers in the governorates of Amman, Irbid, Karak, Ajloun and Zarqa, according to a ministry statement Wednesday.
Nabulsi said that the ministry has implemented many programs aimed at enhancing youth participation in Jordan's civil life.
Nabulsi also participated in a discussion on Jordan NYS, volunteering, and the ministry plans 2022, the statement said.
'Masaruna' project aims to enhance youth capabilities, refine their skills, and implement 'effective' community initiatives and network with various sectors to achieve these goals, in addition to creating friendly spaces in 6 youth centers that will enhance and support youth self-reliance.
