Turkey, Qatar work together for Afghanistan
(MENAFN) In line with Turkey’s diplomat in Doha, Turkey and Qatar are working together on the matter of Afghanistan.
Mustafa Goksu informed the Qatari daily Al Raya that Ankara and Doha "consistently discuss the humanitarian conditions and the security and political developments in Afghanistan given its significance to the Afghan people and international peace and security.”
He added "There is a fruitful cooperation between Turkey and Qatar on the operation of Kabul airport as it is considered a lifeline for those who are stranded in Afghanistan," stating that collaboration constancy amid Turkey, Qatar to offer technical help in order to open the airport.
According to Turkey’s diplomat, there is "consensus between Ankara and Doha on the ways to establish security and stability in Afghanistan."
