Sri Lanka's COVID-19 death toll hits 10,000 185 deaths and 3,308 daily cases reported
(MENAFN- NewsIn.Asia) Colombo , Sept 6 (newsin.asia) – The number of coronavirus positive patients detected in Sri Lanka crossed the 462,000 mark as another 3,308 new COVID-19 cases had been detected across the country yesterday (5).
The total number of COVID-19 positive cases stands at 462,767 with 68,070 active cases registered across the island and as many as 384,557 recoveries according to the Government Information Department.

Sri Lanka also registered 189 more Covid-19 related deaths yesterday, the Director-General of Health Services confirmed. The victims have succumbed to the virus infection on Saturday (4).
Reportedly, among the victims, 1 was aged below 30 years, 34 victims were aged between 30-59 years and 154 others aged 60 and above.
The total number of deaths due to Covid-19 infection in Sri Lanka is 10,040 as of now.
