UK reports drop in daily COVID fatalities
(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) London, August 16 (Petra) -- The UK Monday reported a drop in the daily COVID-19 deaths, with 26 fatalities recorded in the last 24 hours, compared with 61 Sunday, taking the death toll to 130,979.
The Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC) stated some 28,438 people tested positive for the highly contagious respiratory disease, an increase from Monday's 26,950, as the caseload tops 6 million.
