Palestinians in Syria call on UN to help stop Israel’s assaults
(MENAFN) On Monday, May. 17 dozens of Palestinian people held a demonstration before the United Nations office in the Syrian capital Damascus, advising the UN to help end the Israeli violence against Palestinian.
Waving Syrian and Palestinian flags, the demonstrators screamed slogans about the necessity to open frontiers to reach and aid the Palestinians.
They screamed while some of them burned an Israeli flag: "Long live Palestine."
The demonstration, arranged by the Palestinian factions in Syria, happened in the wake of the conflict happening between the Israelis and the Palestinians in Gaza and Jerusalem.
