China posts 230m local traveler trips
(MENAFN)According to the Ministry of Culture and Tourism Wednesday, May 5, China posted a total of 230 million local tourist trips throughout the five-day May Day holiday, it increased 119.7 percent from 2020.
Tourism income hit 113.23 billion yuan (about USD17.5 billion), it increased 138.1 percent from 2020, according to the ministry.
The May Day holiday lasts from May 1 to 5 in 2021.
