China: Hebei posts GDP upsurge 3.9 percent


(MENAFN)North China's Hebei Province witnessed its gross domestic product increase by 3.9 percent to 3.62 trillion Yuan (about USD561 billion) in 2020.

Yang Jingxiang, head of the Hebei provincial bureau of data, declared the data at a press meeting held in Shijiazhuang, capital of Hebei, on Friday, January 29.

Hebei's foreign trade saw vigorous enlargement last year in spite of the coronavirus epidemic.

Its foreign trade volume increased by 10.2 percent to 441.04 billion Yuan in 2020, stated the official. Exports got 6.4 percent to 252.19 billion Yuan while imports increased by 15.8 percent to 188.85 billion yuan.
