Two Ukrainian servicemen wounded in drone strike near Vodiane


(MENAFN- UkrinForm) Two Ukrainian servicemen have sustained shrapnel wounds in a drone strike near Vodiane, Donetsk region, the press center of the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) has reported on Facebook.

According to the report, Russian occupation forces again failed to comply with the agreement and violated the ceasefire. At noon, an unmanned aerial vehicle dropped a VOG-17 grenade on Ukrainian Joint Forces positions near Vodiane. As a result, two Ukrainian servicemen sustained shrapnel wounds.

They were promptly taken to a medical facility where they received medical treatment. They are in satisfactory condition.

OSCE representatives were informed about the actions of the occupiers through the Ukrainian side of the Joint Center for Control and Coordination.

Three enemy attacks were recorded in the JFO area on January 28.
