(MENAFN- Gulf Times) Qatari artists have thanked the Supervisory Committee of Beautification of Roads and Public Places in Qatar for the opportunity to display their works. Fatima al-Sharshani, while attending the tree planting event at Post Office Plaza, said she is grateful to the committee.
'It is also my pride and honour to have my artwork placed for public viewing beside a busy street in the diplomatic area," she noted.
Maryam al-Maadhadi said the artists hope to see more such initiatives and are much honoured to be part of beautifying the streets and areas across Qatar. Mohammad al-Atiq al-Dosari, a fine artist, has crafted a bronze sculpture depicting the seed of Gum Arabic Tree in the Post Office Plaza. The artwork symbolises human goodwill that grows and transforms through generations, he explained.
