Ukraine- Schools in Kyiv to switch to remote learning during January lockdown - Klitschko


(MENAFN- UkrinForm) Educational institutions in Kyiv will switch to distance learning during the lockdown in January.

Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko stated this at a briefing on December 28, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

"On December 25, winter vacations have begun for pupils in the capital. They will last until January 11, and then, during the lockdown, educational institutions will work remotely, he said.

Kindergartens in Kyiv will work as usual, Klitschko added.

As reported by Ukrinform, on December 9, the Cabinet of Ministers decided to introduce strengthened COVID-19 measures in Ukraine from January 8 to January 24, 2021.

On December 28, a total of 1,030,374 coronavirus cases were recorded in Ukraine, including 4,385 new COVID-19 cases registered in the past 24 hours.
