(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Amman, Nov. 29 (Petra) -- A total of 1,757 new families accessed a monthly cash aid program managed by the National Aid Fund (NAF) in October, Omar Mashaqbeh, the fund's director-general said Sunday.
During the same month, Mashaqbeh indicated, 103 families were removed from beneficiaries lists.
He added that the fund had expanded its coverage umbrella to help an additional number of households cope with the ramifications of the coronavirus pandemic.
Noteworthy, the total number of families benefitting from NAF regular cash aid program stands at 105,000 at a monthly cost of more than JD9 million.
