(MENAFN- NewsIn.Asia) Colombo, November 14 (newsin.asia) - The project ‘ E-mprovise ‘ is a three months course on 'Embedded Systems Development and Engineering' organized by the Leo Club of the University of Sri Jayewardenepura which provides a precious opportunity for the Sri Lankan community to learn about the world trending and highly demanded 'Arduino' technology.
Lions Clubs International (LCI) is the world's largest organization with 1.4 million members. Today, there are approximately 46000 Lions clubs in over 200 countries and geographic areas. Regardless of the language Lions speak, religion they practice or politics they support, all share a common dedication to helping people in need.
An integral part of the Lions family, Leos also have their own global network of over 6500 Leo clubs in more than 140 nations. This international scope fosters a unique global identify among Leos and Lions.
Such is the case for Leo Club of University of Sri Jayewardenepura which was initiated on the 1st of July 2019 headed by the Club Advisor Naveen De Silva and Founding President Crystal Vanburen.
Leo Club of the University of Sri JayewardenepuraThe course which is entitled as 'Embedded Systems Development and Engineering' is organized with the partnership of 'Thingerbits' and 'Sri Lanka Institute of Robotics' (SLIR).
This course consists of 12 sessions with a standard course outline which provides the complete basic knowledge for the 600-course followers who have signed up. The CEO/ Founder at 'Thingerbits', Mr. Hasarinda Manjula is the instructor of this course and medals and scholarships for the best achievements are offered by The Sri Lanka Institute Robotics at the end of the learning session.
Project E-mproviseThe course had been scheduled to commence on 1st of November along with an orientation program with the honourable participation of the Senior lecturer P. Ravindra S. De Silva, Senior Lecturer of the University of Sri Jayewardenepura. The course will proceed until 23rd of January 2021 and the examination is scheduled to be held on 31st of January after which the students will be offered with a qualified certificate and the best achievements will be awarded medals and scholarships offered by the Sri Lanka Institute of Robotics.
The main objective of the project is to mark an initiative of making a platform for the community to learn a highly demanded and the world's trending technology which is a novel experience for Sri Lankans. Also, to encourage Sri Lankans to think innovatively with the help of this course.
