(MENAFN- The Peninsula) Doha: New Vision Badminton Sport (NVBS) players dominated in the Under-15 Qatar Running Series (QRS) Spring Series 2020 held at Aspire Park. Akshith Saravanan secured first place in Under-15 Junior (3kms), completing the race in 10.58.9 minutes. Rajat Raj from NVBS secured second place in Under-15.
In the girls' 10-year-old Kavya Sudhir Gangadhar secured second place by completing the race in 13.51.3 minutes. Anna Sanchez Ristol topped the race in 13.39.2 minutes. Nine-year-old Adlyn Sojan and 10-year-old Riya Kurian, both from NVBS, secured third and fourth place.
Head Coach of NVBS Afsal participated in race 3 km Open category and secured 6th position in 12.48.8 minutes.
NVBS Chief coach Manoj Sahibjan and CEO Banazir Manoj hailed all the participants and congratulated the winners. Coach Manoj specially thanked head coach Afsal who helped the trainees through their preparation process and during the event.
