Morocco reports 40 new COVID-19 deaths, 2,552 infections
(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) RABAT, Sept 19 (KUNA) -- The Health Ministry of Morocco confirmed Saturday 40 new coronavirus fatalities, taking the country's victims toll up to 1,795.
In a press statement, the ministry also recorded that 2,552 people were diagnosed with the deadly virus in the past 24 hours. This raises the total number of infections in the North African nation up to 99,816 since the pandemic outbreak, it said.
It added that 2,318 COVID-19 patients recovered today, increasing the number of recoveries to 79,008. (end)
