Sri Lanka- Two Customs Department officers arrested

(MENAFN- Colombo Gazette) Two Customs Department officers were arrested for illegally removing a large consignment of turmeric in the custody of the Customs Department.

The Police arrested the two officers for removing 33,000 kg of turmeric.

The turmeric was found inside three container trucks by the Police.
