Algeria adds 298 more coronavirus cases

The health ministry of Algeria said on Saturday that the number of coronavirus deaths across the country has gone over 1,500.

The country said that 298 more patients were diagnosed with the disease in the earlier 24 hours as 10 others died, pushing the total number of cases across the country to 46,071 and as the number of deaths stood at 1,549.

The country has continued its economic and commercial activities since the 7th of June as part of the efforts to go back to normal life.

The country saw its first coronavirus case on the 25th of February, as China and Algeria provided mutual help in fighting the virus.
