Turkey's daily power expenditure strikes record on July 7


(MENAFN) On Wednesday July 8 official figures of Turkish Electricity Transmission Corporation (TEIAS) shows that Turkey's daily energy expenditure increased by 2.5 percent to strike a record elevated with 931,368 megawatt-hours on July 7.

TEIAS data showed that hourly power expenditure climaxed at 17.00 pm local time with 43,638 megawatt-hours posting an additional record for hourly energy use.

The country's electricity usage dropped to its lowest level of 31,335 megawatt-hours at 07.00 am local time.

On Tuesday July 7 Electricity construction summed 926,664 megawatt-hours on, staining a 2.5 percent increase contrasted to the preceding day.
