Sri Lanka- Jogging tracks open to the public


(MENAFN- Colombo Gazette) Jogging tracks have been reopened to the public for exercising from today, the Police said.

Senior Deputy Inspector General of Police (IGP) for the Western Province Deshabandu Tennakoon said the public have been requested to adhere to the guidelines issued by the Ministry of Health.

The public have been instructed to use face masks while exercising and have also been requested to use jogging tracks close to their residences.

Jogging tracks will be opened to the public from 5 a.m. to 8 a.m. and from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. from today, he said.

Senior DIG Tennakoon added that the public have also been advised to strictly maintain a one meter distance while exercising. (Colombo Gazette)
