Coal output in China posts steady expansion

Official data showed that the raw coal production in China has seen a steady expansion in 2019 as the imports stayed strong.
The Chinese National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) released data showing that China has made 3.75 billion tons of raw coal in the earlier year, representing a rise of 4.2 percent since the earlier year.
The data also showed that about 330 million raw coal tons were made in December of the earlier year 2019, which is an increase of 2.4 percent since the earlier year.
China has imported 300 million tons of coal in 2019, representing an increase of 6.3 percent since the earlier year, the coal imports dropped 72.9 percent in December since a year before.
