Sabre Bangladesh appoints Major General Shayekhuzzaman as new Chairman

(MENAFN- Bangladesh Monitor) Dhaka : Major General Ibne Fazal Shayek-huzzaman has been appointed as the new Chairman of the cutting-edge technology company Sabre Travel Network Bangla-desh recently. He is also a Board Member of Biman Bangladesh Airlines and Engineer in Chief of Bangladesh Armed Forces since February 17, 2019.
The Major General was born on December 31, 1966 in Gopalgonj. He was commissioned in the Corps of Engineers on June 26, 1987 with 16 BMA Long Course.
The new chairman of Sabre Bangladesh completed BSc Engineering (Civil) from Bangla-desh University of Engineering and Technology. He is a graduate of Defense Services Command and Staff College, Mirpur. He also completed his Masters in Defense Studies (MDS) and Masters in War Studies from National Defense College, Mirpur.
Major General Shayekh has attended a number of professional courses, seminars and symposiums at home and abroad. He participated in The Gulf War in 1991. Under the blue helmet, the General served in Sierra Leone and Sudan. He was also closely knitted with the Rana Plaza Rescue Operation.
Within his colourful military career, the General held a number of important staff, instructional and command appointments.
Major General Shayekh is a widely-travelled personality. He has visited many countries around the globe. He enjoys reading books. The humble general is happily married with Tanjina Sattar and proud father of Raslaan and Nusaiba.
