Children are considered the cornerstone of building societies and must be taken care of in all respects to be able to serve their community in the future, noting that the government is exerting its best to meet their needs in various educational, health and social fields, the minister said.

He also stressed the need for the international community and donor countries to shoulder their responsibilities towards Jordan and help it through establishing productive projects, especially in refugee hosting communities.
Chapuisat expressed UNICEF's keenness to help countries in creating a proper educational and social environment for children, noting that the UN organization considers Jordan as one of the most prominent countries in supporting children's rights and providing all basic requirements for refugees and their children.
