Sri Lanka- Prime Minister removed from top post at Kelaniya Temple
(MENAFN- Colombo Gazette) Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe has been removed from a top post at the Kelaniya Temple.
A proposal had been submitted to remove Wickremesinghe as the Chairman of the Dayaka Sabhawa of the Kelaniya Rajama Viharaya.
The proposal was adopted by a majority vote on the basis that he was not doing enough for the temple.
It was decided that a more suitable person must be appointed to the position.
