Nigeria: shooting attack kills 9
(MENAFN) On Sunday, Nigeria's police in central state of Benue emphasized the death of nine persons in the early hours of Saturday at a burial in Tongov district of the state.
State police spokesperson Catherine Anene, who informed reporters in Makurdi, the state capital, emphasized a group of gangsters attacked mourners of a burial, murder four individuals.
She added that more five were murdered during reprisal attacks on gangsters by local communities.
The police spokesperson affirmed operatives launched probe into the matter, guaranteeing that the committers would be brought to book.
