Eight armed revolutionists killed by Afghan forces

An army spokesman in the southern region Sediq Eisa said on Monday that eight activists were reported dead and 13 others were wounded during clean up operations that were started by the Afghan security forces in southern Zabul province, namely Daychopan district, according to Xinhua.

According to officials, the strike was initiated on Sunday afternoon in areas of the restive district, eight armed revolutionists were killed and 13 others injured.

The Taliban activists who play an active role in areas of Zabul province have not commented as of yet.
