Bad weather leaves 211 towns and villages in Ukraine without electricity


(MENAFN- UkrinForm) As of 7:00 on June 28, bad weather left 211 populated areas in eight regions of Ukraine without electricity, the State Emergency Service of Ukraine has reported.

"Bad weather conditions (strong winds, rain, thunderstorm) caused blackouts in 211 populated areas in eight regions, in particular: Ivano-Frankivsk region 70 populated areas, Kyiv region 52, Chernihiv region 26, Sumy region 23, Zhytomyr region 17, Cherkasy region 15, Kirovohrad region 4, and Chernivtsi region 4, the statement says.

Emergency teams of regional power distribution companies have started to conduct needed repairs to resume electricity supply.
