Qatar National Library Wins Gold Award At National Cyber Security Drill 2025

Doha, Qatar: Qatar National Library has won the Gold Award at the National Cyber Security Drill 2025, ranking first in the Education Sector.

Organised by the National Cyber Security Agency under the theme“Cross-Border Attacks,” the event aimed to strengthen national defences against sophisticated, external cyber threats.

The award recognizes the Library's strong performance and commitment to advancing cybersecurity preparedness and resilience across its digital infrastructure and services.

Commenting on this achievement, Information Technology Director at Qatar National Library, Dr. Nasser Al-Ansari said,“This recognition reflects our continuous commitment to strengthening cybersecurity practices across the Library's systems and services. As a national knowledge institution, safeguarding our digital environment is essential to ensuring secure and reliable access to information for our community.” This milestone highlights Qatar National Library's ongoing efforts to align with national priorities and contribute to a secure and resilient digital ecosystem.
