51 arrested for storming Bahraini embassy in Baghdad
(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) BAGHDAD, June 28 (KUNA) -- Baghdad Operations Command declared on Friday that 51 persons have been arrested on charges of partaking in Thursday's attack on the Bahraini embassy building.
The 51 protestors who took part in storming the embassy building were arrested on charges of breaking legal rules for protests, it said.
The command has referred all the arrestees and chief of the squad for defending the embassy to interrogators.
Protestors on Thursday burst into the Bahraini embassy building and brought down the Bahraini flag. (end)
