(MENAFN- PRLog) LAS VEGAS - June 12, 2019 -PRLog-- With summer temperatures surging over 100 degrees, Veterans Village Las Vegas has activated their 8th annual summer cooling protocols. Individuals in need of water, food and air-conditioned relief from the heat can seek assistance at both Veterans Village Las Vegas locations in Downtown Las Vegas.
Now in its eighth year of service to the Las Vegas community Veterans Village has distributed over 1 million bottles of water to the public.
We are humbled that the generosity of donors of the Las Vegas community has allowed us to distribute over one million bottles of water. Without their kindness and donations of water thousands of United States Veterans, elderly, families with children, and special need citizens would not receive much needed relief during the scorching summer days. Extreme heat and the need for water is an everyday need during the summer month's in Las Vegas, it's not a 9-5 problem and that is why our crisis intervention services are available 24/7/365 according to Dr. Arnold Stalk, Founder Veterans Village Las Vegas.
Access to water is life sustaining. Those interested in donating cases of water can deliver donations to either Veterans Village location in Downtown Las Vegas and monetary donations can be made online by visiting www.vvlv.org
