Australian police investigate 3 gun attacks within 24 hours

(MENAFN) Police are on efforts to probe a series of gun attacks in Sydney's outer suburbs after a man was discovered with gunshot injuries to his forearm in the early hours of Thursday morning.

The gun attack was the third in just over 24 hours, triggering concerns of connections to arranged crime which could lead to further retaliation.

A mother and a baby were also stuck in the shooting and have been lucky to flee after the house they were in was ripped with bullets.

The first gun attack occurred in the early hours of Wednesday morning with police dispatched to reports of shots discharged from a car into a home in the suburb of Regents Park.
