(MENAFN) Israeli soldiers detained eight Palestinians during overnight attacks across the occupied West Bank, according to the Israeli military on Monday.
The army stated in a statement that the persons were detained for "suspected involvement in popular terrorist activities", without explaining the nature of these acts.
It added, "The suspects have been taken into custody for further investigation".
Israeli forces usually conduct large-scale detention campaigns across the occupied West Bank to detain the "wanted" Palestinians.
