Houthis reject U.S. envoy remark
(MENAFN) Yemen's Houthi militants rejected a remark U.S. Ambassador to Yemen Matthew Tueller made, slamming it as a path for the Stockholm Agreement failure.
In a statement, Houthi terrorists stressed "we deplore remarks by the U.S. Ambassador Matthew Tueller who accused Houthi group of hampering the implementation of Hodeidah cease-fire," emphasizing that "we are committed to implementing the deal."
It comes after the American envoy held Houthis responsible for the holdup witnessed in the pullout in Hodeidah.
Tueller stated "we are greatly frustrated by what we see as delays and stalling on the part of the Houthis in implementing what they agreed to in Sweden."
