Mongolia hosts major winter game event
(MENAFN) Mongolia announced the commencement of a winter game festival to be carried out for two days with a purpose to flourish the tourism sector.
Ulaanbaatar, the capital of Mongolia, is hosting the major event, declared deputy head of Ulan Bator's tourism department Tsend Enkhtuvshin during an interview with Xinhua on Saturday.
According to the deputy head, "the event called 'Ulan Bator's Winter Game Festival' is part of our efforts to attract both domestic and foreign tourists to the capital city by boosting winter tourism. We are planning to organize this festival every year."
Enkhtuvshin further added that the event was joined by about 900 participants, with 20 of them coming from China.
