2 kilos drugs seized from a Kuwaiti


(MENAFN- Arab Times) Personnel from the Criminal Evidences Department have arrested a Kuwaiti for smuggling drugs into the country from Iraq, reports Al-Anba daily.

The daily quoting security sources said the suspect was arrested after police received a tip-off from one of its agents following which an undercover police was sent to the suspect and the latter was caught red-handed selling shabu.

Police then pounced on the man and seized from him the marked police money and raided his apartment and seized two kilos of the drug from his home. During interrogation he admitted to trafficking in drugs and said he smuggled shabu into the country from Iraq. The contraband and the suspect have been referred to the General Department for Drugs Control
