Saudi Arabia attracts foreign investors

(MENAFN) A number of foreign firms and investors are contacting with Standard and Poor's Saudi Arabia, wanting to invest in the Kingdom, Al-Eqtisadiah reported, citing Meshari Al-Khaled, Managing Director of S&P Saudi Arabia.

S&P has been receiving studies from international investors on the Kingdom's economic condition and investment atmosphere, he emphasized.

Out of all the Tadawul-listed firms, 15 percent of the companies are rated by S&P, of which 80 percent are banks and insurance organizations, he affirmed.

In the meantime, Saudi Arabia has four approved rating companies, he added.
