Saudi Aramco, Bahrain ink deal on oil production hikes research
(MENAFN) Bahrain's Oil and Gas Holding Company was announced to have inked an agreement with Saudi Aramco on the launch of a feasibility assessment on the increase of oil production.
Saudi Aramco chief technology officer Ahmad Othman Al-Khowaiter entered talks with Bahraini Oil Minister Shaikh Mohammed bin Khalifa Al-Khalifa before the deal was secured.
During the meeting, both sides discussed collaboration on advantages of the carbon dioxide the Saudi oil giant is generating, as well as establishing a carbon dioxide transport and distribution network.
While speaking on means to boost cooperation, the two sides further decided to strengthen their information swap.
