Kuwait- Farwaniya Governorate announces mechanism to evacuate bachelors

KUWAIT CITY, Jan 3: The Branch Manager of the Farwaniya Governorate Ahmad Al-Hazeem during his meeting with the Emergency Team and Department of Removal of Encroachments revealed a mechanism will be put in place to evacuate the so-called 'bachelors' from private and ideal housing areas, reports Al-Rai daily.

Al-Hazeem told the daily the meeting focused on methods of determining and monitoring real estate, in addition to reviewing the joint files with the concerned authorities, specifically with the Ministry of Interior.

He noted the next step will include looking at the complaints received to the branch. It was announced that the complaint proposal can be implemented through the Kuwait Municipality website to preserve the confidentiality to facilitate the procedures for submitting the complaint and its follow-up by the complainant, provided the complainant presents himself at the governorate branch.

In a related context, the Department of Removal of Encroachments in the branch has evacuated a property exploited by a number of bachelors especially in Rabiah, according to Decree 125/1992, especially that there is a large movement of a group of people of the region.

An official source in the Farwaniya Governorate said the Al-Rabiah area has been assigned to the Department of Demolishing Encroachments to deal with the individuals and the rest of the areas within the governorate. The emergency team is working to evacuate the bachelors from these areas and submit a comprehensive report to the Director of the Branch for consideration.
